THE MISSIONARY WITH THE VEGETABLE BASKET...

Gulabi has a back-breaking job. She carries a heavy basket of vegetables on her head each day and goes door to door in the Mumbai slums, selling her produce.

She's joyful in this work, though... because she knows the love of Jesus Christ.

When she came to Sita's door, she could tell the woman was in terrible pain.

Helping her back to bed, Gulabi sat down beside Sita and softly offered to pray with her and explain the hope she has in Jesus.

Sita was overwhelmed by her kindness, and accepted her invitation to come to the Good Shepherd Community Church as soon as she felt better.

The next week, Sita and her whole family came to church and chose to follow Jesus Christ.

The missionary with the vegetable basket had truly impacted their lives and future.
