GOD UNDERSTOOD HER PAIN

Sudha's family could not believe their good fortune. When the marriage proposal came from the successful gentleman, Sudha's parents were certain their daughter would be well provided for.  Even if that meant moving — Sudha's new husband was from a foreign country.

Sudha's husband disappeared, and she was heartbroken and betrayed.  He had done this to her once before — disappeared for an entire year! Anguished, Sudha waited for her husband to return home. Weeks turned into months, months turned into years.

Ashamed, she took her two small children and returned to her parents' home.

The Dayspring film team who visited Sudha's village heard about her story and could see that Sudha was deeply scarred.

They shared about God's eternal love and hope with Sudha's family. Comforted for the first time in years, Sudha asked how she could learn more.

The team members invited her and her parents to the next showing of Dayasager™, our all-Indian acted life of Christ motion picture.

Watching intently, Sudha and her parents soon realized that Jesus was more than just a "prophet"... like their own religion had taught them.

They were moved by the crucifixion scene and could not believe Jesus' words of forgiveness for those who had falsely accused Him and sought His brutal death.

Hope flooded Sudha's heart! No matter what she had faced, God understood her pain! Sudha and her parents decided to follow Christ personally.
