Lalu was entrenched in witchcraft, spells and mysticism. He was viewed as a "spiritual advisor" in his hometown.
However, nothing prepared Lalu for the helplessness he felt when his wife became gravely ill. Doctors and hospitals couldn't help her. Other witch-doctors were powerless to find a cure.
Finally it was another witch who told him, "Why don't you try God Jesus? He is more powerful than any other God."
Then other neighbors began telling Lalu that there was healing in Jesus' name. They had heard about the work of a Dayspring film team in another village!
Lalu tracked them down, invited them to his home, and asked them to pray for his wife.
Miraculously, her health began to improve almost immediately. Lalu and his family were so grateful! And they were thrilled to see our all-Indian acted Life of Christ film, Dayasagar™, which showed them the story of the one true God.
Joyfully, they chose to follow Jesus and reject witchcraft.
Today Lalu is studying his Bible daily — already he and his family host a worship service in their home, so their neighbors can learn more about Jesus Christ, the Savior.
