Dayspring International's mission is to transform villages all across India by engaging each person with powerful, culturally relevant media, establishing local churches as community centers, and elevating the individual through education, training and relief.

Our three-pronged, targeted approach is a continuous and moving cycle — that over time truly transforms each village — and the lives of the villagers in them.

Each of these three principles operates simultaneously: We continue to engage individuals and families through relevant media, the church continues to grow, and their needs are met more practically and more poignantly. It's not a simple "1-2-3-done" process... it's a cycle that transforms lives in various areas at various times.

A KEY FACT ABOUT DAYSPRING'S MISSION...

We believe in indigenous efforts which respect local culture and customs. From the message itself to who delivers the message and how it's communicated... it all matters to us.

This means there is:

• no exporting of another culture into their culture. A lot of the time, Christianity has been regarded as a religion for Europeans and Americans, not Asians. We're showing India that Jesus is the true God, for all people everywhere.
• no misrepresenting the gospel for personal gain. Some ministers are perceived as exploiting the poor in order to make a living from the tithes they can collect and changing the gospel message to serve their interests. We're dedicated to keeping the Gospel message pure as Christ intended — not as man changes.

Our calling and our responsibility to care for and share the greatest story ever told are taken very seriously, and carried out with only the highest integrity.
