"I will stand on my guard post and station myself on the rampart; and I will keep watch to see what He will speak to me, and how I may reply when I am reproved. Then the Lord answered me and said, 'Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the one who reads it may run.'" (Hab. 2:1,2)

In 1968, I was so hungry for God. Even though a Christian, I was like a nomad in the desert. Never was I so thirsty for the things of God. I was battling with a deep inner feeling that my heart was desperately wicked. I was falling short of His glory and felt so unworthy of what Christ had done for me. Day after day I prayed, "Lord, show me your divine direction for my life." Shortly thereafter, I had two encounters with Jesus that transformed my life.

One was a cleansing experience. One night alone with a trusted friend in Christ I poured out my heart to God confessing my deepest sins, the most painful of all being "I love myself more than I love you." That night I wept for joy as the burden of sin rolled away until I was light as a feather. I thought for sure I now had all of Christ and He had all of me. But there was much more.

For the first time in my life I felt so clean before God, my heart burst forth with praise. Then it happened. A vision appeared before me on the blank cinderblock wall of the office where I was praying. For some twenty minutes I saw what looked to me like a movie on a screen about 4 x 3 feet. The story of Jesus, from birth to ascension, appeared in color. I worshipped at each new scene - laughing and crying with overwhelming joy flooding my heart. My mind was totally engaged in the reality of Jesus for the first time in my life.

I knew my vision was BIG - but what could I do with it?

Ten years later, I found myself in a village in India instructing the first-ever Dayspring film team to set up a giant screen between bamboo poles as several thousand villagers gathered to watch our all-Indian-acted Life of Christ motion picture. That night nearly 300 openly acknowledged their desire to follow Christ. God had shown me His will for my life right before me ten years earlier. The vision was real!

And it continues to grow. Today, we have more than 1,000 national missionaries carrying our Life of Christ film all across India, and more than 131 million have now been witness to this incredible movie event.

Like Habakkuk, I stationed myself before God - I sought Him, and He answered me! So I now declare His vision, that all who hear it may run with us. Our goal... to win souls in the most religious and needy harvest field on earth - India.
