How It All Began...
Dayspring International began in 1979 when founder John Gilman returned from India with a divine inspiration to share the love of Christ using an all-Indian acted Life of Christ motion picture. It is a biblically based rendition which presents the life, miracles, teaching, death and resurrection of the Savior. Now used in 14 major languages of India, with an all-Indian cast, the film presents no cultural barriers to the message of salvation.
Today...
Over 276 Dayspring Mobile Film Teams are constantly crisscrossing India to show our Life of Christ film in villages, schools, hospitals and private homes. Most often, the teams show the film outdoors, in the evening, for an entire village, and the average attendance at the film showings is about 400 people. Our teams work in partnership with local churches to help to launch new churches in villages where there is no existing church.
