WHAT IS DAYSPRING INTERNATIONAL'S CURRENT FOCUS?
Dayspring uses film evangelism, with native actors who perform in the same language and lifestyle as the people in the audience. Mobile film teams travel throughout India to remote tribal villages and towns. Often times an empty field is located and a large bed-sheet type screen is set up, sometimes hung between two trees. In areas where persecution is too intense for a public showing, teams show the film privately, behind closed doors.
WHAT IS DAYASAGAR™?
Dayasagar™ is our all-Indian acted life of Christ film - "Dayasagar" means "Oceans of Mercy" in Hindi. This is a professionally produced film, initially released in cinema houses throughout India. Over 17 million people saw the film before Dayspring began its work among the hundreds of thousands of Indian villages sharing the love of Jesus. Dayasagar™ has been dubbed into 14 major Indian languages.
