Pray for the new believers!

Sunita came from a Hindu background, but she was extremely dissatisfied with her spiritual and emotional life. She was searching for hope, even outside the confines of her religion, when our Life of Christ film came to her village, and Sunita went with the other villagers for the film showing.

As soon as the film ended, Sunita knew: she wanted to follow Jesus! She joyfully committed her life to the Savior!

The problem? Her husband and family. As devout Hindus, they were appalled at Sunita’s decision for Jesus. Her husband simply forbade her to follow the Christian faith. When she refused to denounce Jesus, her husband left her, and her family abandoned her. Alone and outcast, she continues to follow Christ.

The faith community in her village is small and cannot provide for a woman on her own, but they are praying for her and helping her in every way they can. Please for Sunita and all of our new believers, as they grow in their relationship with Christ and remain faithful to Him, despite opposition and persecution.
