A family transformed!

Mavita's husband was drunk again.

His anger and violence turned on his helpless wife, and he brutally beat her. Frightened and hopeless, Mavita sought comfort at the local temple, but her family religion had no hope for her. In fact, it seemed her "karma" dictated that she was doomed to suffer.

Then some ladies came to the village, and invited all the housewives like Mavita - old women and young ladies and girls to come and see a special film about the Savior, Jesus Christ.

What a wonderful story! The Lord Jesus was the Son of God who had come to bring help, hope, healing and salvation from sin for all the world. Mavita saw how Jesus Christ healed the sick and released the demon-possessed from their oppression.

She believed Jesus could help her, too! She began to pray to Him and asked the team to pray for her, too.

The next time she saw the team of ladies, she had amazing news for them: God has answered her prayers!

Her husband had stopped drinking, and Mavita herself felt wonderful freedom from spiritual oppression. She gave her life to Jesus Christ, and soon her husband, too, chose to follow the Savior.

Today, Mavita and her husband minister to others in their village, telling them about the love of Jesus.
